Did anyone see last nights American Idol? Man, did Syesha Mercado rock the show or what? And what about Jason? What was that boy smoking? I was so surprised to see his performances the last two weeks on American Idol sucked as bad as they did. Even both of the David’s seemed to be off. This consistent performance is what I believe will make Syesha Mercado the next American Idol of 2008.

And why people were booing Simon when he said that Jason’s songs were nothing more than a karoke performance, I don’t know. You people need to get a life! Most of you wouldn’t know good music if it hit you in the face. What’s so funny, is that it’s like Syesha Mercado is so smooth and talented, she’s flying beneath the radar. I mean, everyone is focused on both David’s right now and then here comes little Syesha and blows them both away.

Of course, that doesn’t matter if she can hold it together for the finals. But if past performances are any indications, we’ll be calling Syesha Mercado "The Next American Idol" before too long!
