My husband and I work together to try to maintain a set budget for the many various things that we need to survive and make it month to month.  I am a huge coupon clipper and saver.  My husband is very disciplined in only buying items that offer deals, discounts and coupons.  It has really paid off in the long run for us.  We have a beautiful home that we have been able to redo at a discounted price.  I can buy clothing as I need it and when it is on sale.  Having a budget and sticking to it has really been beneficial to us as a family.
