I am sure that your sister meant the best with her advice but it just came across the wrong way. Do you know for sure that she was trying to be malicious? Sometimes when someone is passionate about something, they can get fired up and fail to express their original point. I am sure that she was trying to give you advice to get over a breakup but just had a hard time expressing herself. I am sure that she will call you later to apologize for getting so worked up. I am sorry that you did not get the help you wanted.
