How to make exercise more fun
November 29, 2008 1:24 pm HealthOne of the problems many people have with sticking with an exercise program is that they find normal workouts boring and aren’t motivated to go to the gym. Who says your workouts have to be boring? Here’s a few tips and ideas to make exercise fun for you:
Your workouts don’t need to only be at the gym — try going outside for a nice hike or mountain bike ride if you have hills or mountains near you. Also, you could try your hand at kayaking, and also skiing in the winter.
Try a boxing class or martial arts class to spice up your workouts
Try jumping rope and other types of bodyweight exercises.
