My cousin Ralph has run a recording studio since he first graduated from the University of Iowa three years before with a degree in music. His studio has been very successful and so has Ralph. I had a good friend who was an exmormon, and he was very unhappy. He didn’t have very good relationships with most of his old friends, because he was still very upset about being excommunicated from the church. I am still a Mormon, though, and I wouldn’t give up on him. I knew he had just made some mistakes and needed a good friend who wasn’t going to give up on him. This exmormon eventually got to the point where he was able to forgive the people who he felt had wronged him, which made him able to forgive himself as well, and he was rebaptized.

I just found out that my friend’s husband is a closet exmormon, which has crushed her. He converted to the church years ago and she thought he had a real testimony, they got married in the temple, and he didn’t tell her about his faith issues until he was already far gone.
