Sometimes, the unwise investor will start a venture based on feelings for the venture, rather than on a basis of analysis keeping in mind the pros and cons of the business landscape. Food is no different. It is very difficult to keep a restaurant afloat, and funding a restaurant can be a bear. The average restaurant does not clear any profit for at least three years, so investors need to be prepared to be a part of the long haul. Most are not perseverant enough, and that is why so many ventures fail so miserably in this difficult food landscape.
