There are so many singers in the industry but there are country music artists that stand out above the rest. They have become legends in their trade and have been named a part of the country music artist legends profile. Some are Anne Murray, Jan Howard, Jack Greene, “Whispering” Bill Anderson, Billy Walker, Little Jimmy Dickens, Gene Watson, Jean Shepard, Mel Tillis, and Porter Wagoner. Even though new generations may not know some of these names if not all of them, they need to know that there are so many more country music singers that have made very popular country songs but just may not be played anymore.
