We bought our new Gardall fire safe to be a home vault for our documents and money. The model that we bought came with several layers of security. It not only could handle high temperatures and fires, but it could also thwart thieves who might want to try and steal the money. We even hid the fire safe away in the basement so nobody could find it without actively looking for it.
